SUPERFOLLIES Fuorisalone 2017 Milan Design Week

A private garden from the late 1800s in the center of the city, 2000 square meters with 49 different tree species, including specimens of European beech, magnolia, white elm, ailanthus (known as tree of heaven), deodar cedar, and sycamore. Various bird species are hidden amidst the treetops and the shrubs: kestrel, common swift, chaffinch, house sparrow, robin, great tit, jackdaw. A secret paradise in which to rediscover the beauty of nature, an oasis in which to linger, taking a break from the frenetic pace of the city. In this setting, Nobodyandco., from 4 to 9 April 2017, presents its new furnishings. The installation is by Studio Toogood, which has designed the Follies, small “extravagant” architectural structures in vogue in English gardens in the 18th century. Inside them, visitors are invited to view five new projects by Nobodyandco.: Pet Table, Relog and Missing Ocean, Uphill and the Sliced Bookshelf.
The “Wild Bakery” is a creation of Arabeschi di Latte and Vermouth Aperitivo by OSCAR.697.

The public will be invited to undergo original experiences over a period of 31 hours for an unforgettable birthday. Inside the Mudam, in the stunning Mudam Boutique, designed by the Bourellec, you can find Il Buddino, that ten years ago was chosen by Maurizio Galante and Tal Lacmann to represent Italy in the boutique. .nobody&co.’s crystal-top Scroll Table, containing rotating silk screen-printed linen by Timorous Beasties, will be the investigative task-desk from which the master crime writer and TV presenter, Carlo Lucarelli, explores the psycho-history of key cultural figures whose lives were not a little mysterious! Series 2 of this Sky Arte HD program, The Disturbing Muses, is set within the looming 12th-century fortress of Rocchetta Mattei, now a bizarre and architecturally incongruous vision embellished by Cesare Mattei, the eccentric father of electrohomeopathy.

14th April 2015 Brera Design District, via Statuto 13 For Fuorisalone 2015 we lifted the curtain on our latest collection at the .nobody&co. Underwater Projects launch party. New designs include a unique reflection on rituals of the bathroom, explored through a series of shower-head prototypes: CLOUD, RAYN, and TUBE—our poetic take on a conventional object, reduced to alternative visual essences. We also unpacked our new POP-UP Mobile, brought out BOOX BOX (both modern magical shelving solutions), and added the EIGHTH PART (a seating element or small table that marks the final instalment in the MISSING CHAIRS series). Special thanks to OSCAR.697 who introduced their own delightful twist for the occasion with their deliciously contemporary vermouth. And special thanks to all of you who came to cool and soak up the atmosphere at .nobody&co.’s Underwater Projects party—wonderful to see you there!

Missing Chairs sotto gli occhi degli alberi

La presentazione di un libro, “Gli Occhi degli Alberi” di Chicca Gagliardo con fotografie di Massimiliano Tappari, è stata occasione per una passeggiata notturna straordinaria. Perdersi al Parco Sempione di Milano fa scoprire un mondo: l’incredibile varietà di alberi, solitari e guardinghi, o disposti a coppie e così vicini da far pensare a uno sdoppiamento; una fonte d’acqua sulfurea genera dubbi presocratici; pini giganteschi formano un tempio naturale e nascosto. Illuminate dalla voce di Chicca Gagliardo, guidate dalla luce di Massimiliano Tappari, protette dagli alberi e attente al richiamo dell’acqua, alcune Missing Chairs .nobody&co. erano attente testimoni.

American Vogue Feature - June 2010

Our Piola Pop bookcase and Comfort Table are featured in the June issue of American Vogue. To furnish a sophisticated New York apartment, they were specially commissioned in shades of pink and green by the daystar of luxury interior design, Muriel Brandolini.
