| Missing Chairs under the eyes of the trees. |

| The book presentation of "The Eyes of the Trees", written by Chicca Gagliardo, with photography |
| by Massimiliano Tappari, was a rare and extraordinary nocturnal walk. |
| A metaphysical stroll through Milan's Parco Sempione to discover watchful trees, and double trees; a fountain |
| of sulfurous water for pre-Socratic thoughts; a hidden temple of giant pines. |
| All this enlightened by Chicca Gagliardo's words and by Massimiliano Tappari's torch, under the endless gaze |
| of the trees. |
By the fountain and amongst the plants a few Missing Chairs were
lucky spectators. |

| To elevate the form and visual statement of our 2009 catalogue, we had trimmed the book-base so that |

| They make their debut in Milan, during the Salone del Mobile 2006, |
| at Pitti Living in zona Tortona, where they show: |
| - la Bibliochaise, an armchair-library that contains up to 5 metres of books. |
| -Piola bookcases, an original shelf system |
| made of pegs that in the Pop version are interchangeable allowing to personalise |
| the color combination. |
| -Il Buddino, a set of 4 dessert forms to unmold budino pudding |
| in the shape of little Buddhas. |
